the central bank interest rate / federal funds rate – is the “cost of money” – meaning how much does it cost to borrow 100USD of CASH from the FED as a private bank.

Only the FED as the ECB is allowed to print and lend CASH.

Fun Fact: Private banks actually can lend 1000USD – when they actually only have 100USD from the FED – 900USD (90%) is created out of thin digital air and only exists in digital form.

Thus: If people would request only 20% of all funds of a bank to be paid out in cash – the bank could not do it.

“The Federal Reserve will conclude its final policy meeting of the year Wednesday.

With traders widely expecting the central bank to raise short-term interest rates, many say the focus will be on Fed officials’ comments on the economy.

Volatile markets and mixed inflation data have amplified investors’ doubts about how many times the Fed can raise rates next year.” (src)

“The current federal funds rate rose to 2.25% when the Federal Open Market Committee met on September 26, 2018. This benchmark rate is an indicator of the economy’s health.

The Federal Reserve signaled it would raise rates to 2.5 percent in December 2018, 3.0 percent in 2019, and 3.5 percent in 2020. The rate is critical in determining the U.S. economic outlook.

The 2008 recession caused the Fed to lower its benchmark rate to 0.25 percent. That’s effectively zero. It stayed there seven years until December 2015, when the Fed raised interest rates to 0.5 percent. The fed funds rate controls short-term interest rates. These include banks’ prime rate, most adjustable-rate and interest-only loans, and credit card rates.

The FOMC raised the fed funds rate a quarter point to 2.25 percent on September 26, 2018.

Prior to that, the Fed had raised rates to the following levels:

  • 0.5 percent on Dec. 15, 2015.
  • 0.75 percent on Dec. 14, 2016.
  • 1.0 percent on March 5, 2017.
  • 1.25 percent on June 14, 2017.
  • 1.5 percent on Dec. 13, 2017.
  • 1.75 percent on March 21, 2018.
  • 2.0 percent on June 13, 2018.

The Fed finished tapering off its quantitative easing (printing money) program in 2013.

That was a massive expansion of the Fed’s open market operations tool.

The Fed still had $4 trillion of debt in 2017 on its books from QE.

In October 2017, it began allowing its holdings to gradually decline.

“The FOMC sets a target for the fed funds rate at its regular meeting. Banks charge each other this rate when they lend each other funds. Those are loans banks make to each other to meet the Fed’s reserve requirement. Technically, the banks set these rates, not the Federal Reserve. But banks usually follow whatever rate the Fed sets as its target. ”

If you a Tripple-AAA rated US-company would need to borrow money – you would have to pay 5% interest according to: https://www.bankrate.com/rates/interest-rates/wall-street-prime-rate.aspx

#USA sides with the “good” Muslims (whatever group serves their GeoPolitical purposes) while since #911 Muslims are made THE REASON for implementation of 1984 – a complete surveillance of every letter i type here – complete brain washing and mind control.

Would be the Uyghurs a new islamic Partner to ship weapons to and ally with?

There seems to be growing tensions inside China and a growing conflict rich vs poor – and thus – you need a proper enemy to blame all this mess on.

BigData is also involved – what would Snowden say?

“oh you are unhappy and poor? direct your anger to THE ENEMY!” – It’s a simple crowd control tactic.

Northwest China’s Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region  has signed a cooperation anti-terrorism agreement with Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region to learn from the latter’s experiences in promoting social stability.

Zhang Yunsheng, a Communist Party of China chief from Ningxia, went to Xinjiang to study and investigate how Xinjiang fights terrorism and legally manages religious affairs, Ningxia Daily reported on Tuesday.

During his trip, Zhang visited Xinjiang’s stability maintenance and counter-terrorism center and local public security bureaus where new technologies like big data have been deployed in the fight against terrorism.

The two autonomous regions signed cooperation agreements against terrorism.

Zhang, who is also the head of Xinjiang service and management coordination group in Ningxia, noted that the progress Xinjiang achieved is worth learning.

A unique relationship exists between Ningxia and Xinjiang, which bear similarities in culture, religions and customs due to the connection of the ancient Silk Road, Zhang said.

“That’s why Ningxia went to learn from Xinjiang,” Zhang said.

Li Wei, a Beijing-based counter-terrorism expert, told the Global Times on Tuesday that Xinjiang has effectively curbed the threat of terrorism in recent years thanks to its continuous anti-extremism efforts over the past years.”

NATO, Gladio and Terrorism:

Vinciguerra’s allegations concerning NATO

Vinciguerra also made this statement to The Guardian: “The terrorist line was followed by camouflaged people, people belonging to the security apparatus, or those linked to the state apparatus through rapport or collaboration. I say that every single outrage that followed from 1969 fitted into a single, organised matrix… Avanguardia Nazionale, like Ordine Nuovo (the main right-wing terrorist group active during the 1970s), were being mobilised into the battle as part of an anti-communist strategy originating not with organisations deviant from the institutions of power, but from within the state itself, and specifically from within the ambit of the state’s relations within the Atlantic Alliance.”[4]

You feed your children to a heartless machine – it’s name is capitalism – and you wonder why – your children become so heartless – they don’t visit you in your elderly home no call on your birthday.

It is not in the responsibility of a  “good” capitalist to care for the “whole thing” – called family – earth – ecosystems – even his/her own company – it would cost time and/or money – so it is to be avoided – even asking this question – writing this blog – or reading it – is “not my/your job” as a “good” capitalist.

Small and medium sized businesses/companies that are family-led and family-passed-on – that are innovative, create jobs and care about keeping jobs in the country (not China) do exist – but are the rare expection.

To take care about the environment does not make sense from a profit-perspective – unless solar+batteries REALLY become cheaper than nuclear or coal power – but nuclear and coal will prevent that – again with money and politicians willing to drink the cool aid.

The neaderthaler died out – despite his/her human like features – this could happen to homo sapiens as well – but the irony is – homo sapiens could be it’s own mass extinction event – nothing smart or clever or sapiens about that.

Ich möchte jetzt nicht so weit gehen und die “Church of Satan” zitieren welche da sagt: “humans can be the best and the most vicious of animals”
