incomplete definition, but at least three reasons for starters:

  • mankind (aka humans) are a part of nature
    • some religions made mankind believe for centuries, that humans, are “above” nature and thus not a part of nature, resulting in beyond-reasonable exploitation of the environment and little care for other species
    • but without the bacteria and fungi in the soil breaking down organic matter, the every land will become a desert mankind will starve
  • the monetary system(s) is “selling the future for short term profits”
    • the monetary system(s) are abstracting humans away from cooperation with nature (the consumer is consuming handing money to the farmer that is producing, the consumer never meets the farmer, the plant, the field where his/her food comes from and does not care (?) where it comes from (increasingly people care where their food is coming from and how it is produced (fair, organic? or exploitative and cancer causing ?)
    • mankind (aka humans) feel “disconnected” and become selfish and arrogant (greed) unaware that this disconnection means death in the long term
    • inequality: “poor Americans are much more likely to face mental health problems than rich ones”
  • more and more violence on TV: why, actually?
    • did you know that in France TV is “illegal” for children under 3, it used to be illegal for children as well in Germany, but SOMEHOW and SOMEONE thinks it’s “good” to have children watch traumatic brutal violence on TV? (WHO IS THIS PSYCHOPATH? PROBABLY BIG PHARMA!?)
      • because that is what this will do: make humans blunting humans on compassion, one of the MOST important features (says the Dalailama) if one want’s to be happy
      • “Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them, humanity cannot survive.” (Dalai Lama XIV, The Art of Happiness)
      • “If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.” (Dalai Lama XIV, The Art of Happines)
      • there are even more quotes
    • “Television viewing hurts the development of children under 3 years old and poses a certain number of risks, encouraging passivity, slow language acquisition, over-excitedness, troubles with sleep and concentration as well as dependence on screens.” (source: 2008 ecochildsplay.com)
    • imho, WHY is there so much violence on TV? so BIG PHARMA CREATES SICKNESS IN PEOPLE AND CAN SELL MORE PILLS?

so what needs to be done?

  • reconnect with nature, hand grow as much food as you can, where you can, and if it’s only a balcony with a little reddish and broccoli
  • instead of buying new (bad quality), try to make it yourself or try to fix old things
  • what is your vision of a positive (hopefully for everyone) future?
  • FIX THE GOD DAMN INEQUALITY!
    • let’s start by AMAZON APPLE GOOGLE FACEBOOK AND ALL OTHER TAX DODGERS PAYING PROPER (AT LEAST 10% ON INCOME) TAXES!

    • Elon says “I am not Satoshi Nakamoto” (the “inventor” whitepaper ghost writer of bitcoin) (many people have claimed to be Nakamoto to get famous)
    • What is the current monetary system? (FED, ECB)
      • Elon: “a bunch of mainframes running ancient cobol”
    • What is money?
      • Elon: “a database for resource allocation”
      • comment: yes, that is what money should be and those resources should be allocated in a way that makes sense – sense like: ensure the sustainable (ongoing) survival of mankind – but it is not – it is: whoever is sitting closest to the FIAT money printing press, is getting “rich” (allocates a senseless amount of resources for himself/herself/family while starving the rest of the planet)
      • it is broken broken broken: FED buys “value”papers issued by companies $ 120 billion A MONTH (!) with self-printed money
        • while telling the people “it’s okay” or it will be “temporary” (La Guarde ECB), because the THEORY is: if banks print money and give it to banks for buying stocks (trade paper against paper) there will be no inflation, in 2021/2022 everyone knows: ANOTHER DAMN LIE TO EXPLOIT PEOPLE!
      • Elon falesly (like 99% of all people) think the goverment makes the monetary rules and prints the money, guess what, that is not true, the privilege of seniourage (the right to print money) was taken away from the government (the state) to a “independent” entity, because the government would probably missuse this privilege and print too much money, well exactly what is happening now X-D
        • Old French seigneuriage, “right of the lord (seigneur) to mint money”
    • What is good about bitcoin and fundamentally different to the current monetary system: it is distributed, not centralized (anyone with computers and energy can run it)

First of “good” news:

https://www.worldometers.info/world-population/ethiopia-population/

Good news is also, that there are very intelligent farmers in Africa, that try to stop the desert by Zai technique (holes + cattle dung, first plant bushes, than trees, crops can grow in the shade)

Also Africa’s population growth rate is slowing down, but it is still the highest in the world.

Non-sustainable life-styles also in Africa? Yes!

Eucalyptus forests are only natural in Australia, not in Brazil and not in Africa, they are planted by humans, because they grow fast and burn well.

Non-sustainable modes (means: it is going to end) of survival sounds like a problem of “fast-food-obese” developed western post-industrial nations and yes – there is a massive problem there.

But in this case – Africa has the same problem as USA or Europe or (increasingly) China: non sustainable ways of survival that over use of finite resources in an non-recycling non-reuse non-sustainable way.

Dr. Christof Schenck, Frankfurt  is fighting an uphill, almost impossible to win, battle.

He says, that the gov of Ethiopia needs to tell the police to take this matter serious and keep illegal settlers and cattle out of the environmental protection zones.

Will they listen? Surely not. “Because they have a tough time survive the next days” says Dr Schenck, “but if they continue like this, they will destroy the basis of their own survival”

“there is no conflict man vs environment-protection, man will surely lose if we can not rescue the forests of the Bale national park” (Wiki)

“currently we lose 10% of the forests per year”

“we (the West) did not realize the dimensions of this crisis yet”

“40.000 people live illegal in the national park”

“12 million people are dependent downstream from the water of the park”

“we (the West) need to help stabilize Ethiopia”

In the worst case, it would mean: mankind is stupid and a slow learner leading to the Lorax” Problem:

That the majority only starts to realize the problems caused, when the last tree has fallen.

The destruction by exploitation of environment (+China and Russia and USA and EU induced climate change) will lead to droughts and famine, causing millions Africans to flee their home country (nobody likes to flee one’s home country) and knock knock on the barb wire fences of Europe.

Weapons of Mass Migration: another Refugee crisis – this time manufactured by Belarus as reaction on EU sanctions – all refugee crisis solved in 5 minutes

What will Europe do?

  • refugees: “Hurray finally cheap labor” (aka slaves)
    • “What? Slavery is illegal? GO BACK TO AFRICA!”
    • (or stay and work for the Italian Tomato-Mafia with sometimes pay and sometimes no pay)
  • the West needs to lead by example by living more sustainable lifestyle and less like grasshoppers, eat, eat, move on
  • Ethiopia exports a lot of coffee (in contrast to South America, people there drink it) so it is important to pay them a fair price (ask for fair trade coffee and where it is from)

To live sustainability with nature – is possible.

Just as the West needs to transit from fossil fuel addiction to CO2-neutrality

Africa needs to change to sustainable renewable lifestyles (do not cut more trees than grow)

Africa still #1 in Population Growth rate (+2.49% per year)
