The situation is clear.

Life on every planet depends on balance.

There are limited supplies of resources (be it fossil fuels or lithium (which hopefully is not needed anymore in the batteries of tomorrow) on this planet.

Instead of fighting over scarce resources, it would be wise, to support citizens building up renewable de-centralized power systems and infrastructure (power companies hate the world de-centralized)

by:

  • funding
    • 5000 for every heat pump installed
    • 10,000 for every roof covered in solar
    • 5000 for every battery pack that stores the sun’s energy
    • 15,000 for every newly sold eCar
    • 10,000 for every eCar charger made available to the public
  • reduction in bureaucracy / easy approvals

such as:

  • heatpumps
  • small wind mills
  • solar panels
  • batteries
  • chargers
  • converters
  • hydrogen generating facilities and storage
  • eCars
  • other storage systems: compressed CO2

Fossil fuel companies “out of tradition” do not want to invest into renewables (unless they are forced by law? (like invest 10% of all income into solar + wind + storage))

The technology is there and is getting better by the day:

The question is:

Will leaders deliver? Or will they rather “safe on paper money”?

That’s the big question of 2023.

Plus: If US really re-elects a Republican nutcase, it might mean major blow to US cooperation with other countries (as Republicans constantly work on egoism and destroying relationships with other countries, cutting funding to Ukraine, funding fossil fuel companies etc.).

No more fossil fuels from Russia: ever – please avoid the China vs Europe energy competition!

The situation in Europe is like this: 2022: everything still “okayish”.

2023 not so much: “global LPG (offloading) capacities will not be sufficient to fill this gap.”

“In addition, it must be assumed that there will be a high demand for LPG if the economy in Asia picks up again.”

“Energy demand in China is currently relatively low, as the economy suffers as a result of a strict zero-covid strategy”

bug the leaders day and night to deliver on funding renewables:

Energy shortage – renewables – can EU and other leaders ramp up investments and incentives? (Joe Biden (US), Jerome Powell (FED), Christine Lagarde (ECB), Macron (France), Kishida (Japan), Han Duck-soo (South Korea), Anthony Albanese (Australia), Jacinda Ardern (New Zealand), Ismail Sabri Yaakob (Malaysia), Bongbong Marcos (Philippines), Lee Hsien Loong (Singapore), Tsai Ing-wen (Taiwan), Prayut Chan-o-cha (Thailand), Phạm Minh Chính, (Vietnam), Erdoğan (Turkey), Alexander De Croo (Belgium), Andrej Plenković (Croatia), Karl Nehammer (Austria), Von der Leyen (Germany), Scholz (Chancellor Germany) Habeck (Ministry of Economics and Energy, Germany)), Petr Fiala (Czech Republic), Mette Frederiksen (Denmark), Kaja Kallas (Estonia), Sanna Marin (Finland), Kyriakos Mitsotakis (Greece), Katrín Jakobsdóttir (Iceland), Micheál Martin (Ireland), Draghi & Meloni (Italy), Krišjānis Kariņš (Latvia), Daniel Risch (Liechtenstein), Ingrida Šimonytė (Lithuania), Xavier Bettel (Luxembourg), Mark Rutte (Netherlands), Faiz Sucuoğlu (Cyprus), Jonas Gahr Støre (Norway), Mateusz Morawiecki (Poland), António Costa (Portugal), Eduard Heger (Slovakia), Robert Golob (Slovenia), Pedro Sánchez (Spain), Ulf Kristersson (Sweden), Ignazio Cassis (Switzerland), Rishi Sunak (UK), Justin Trudeau (Canada), Rodrigo Chaves Robles (Costa Rica), Nayib Bukele (Salvador), Andrés Manuel López Obrador (Mexico), Alberto Fernández (Argentina), Luis Lacalle Pou (Uruguay), Luis Arce (Bolivia), Lula (Brazil), Gabriel Boric (Chile), Gustavo Petro (Colombia), Guillermo Lasso (Ecuador), Mario Abdo Benítez (Paraguay), Mirtha Vásquez (Peru), Shehbaz Sharif (Pakistan)https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_state_leaders_in_2022

Yes energy is too expensive.

Yes private companies aim to maximize their profits over any other goal (which is stupid, because with mankind being killed by climate change this is the “end” also for their profits)

Yes it’s very very bad if private companies profit from the suffering of other people such as Putin’s war on Ukraine have killed Ukraine and Russian family members and increased energy prices, which hit the poorest the most. (Yes there are at least 21.7% in massive poverty in Europe as well!)

So what to do Mr Biden?

Simple: Make a law that forces BigOil to invest AT LEAST 10% of their pre tax income into renewables + energy storage (tax deductible investments).

https://www.divestnyteachers.org/
https://www.divestnyteachers.org/

Plus: Give incentives to empower citizens:

  • $15,000 for every new eCar sold (at least)
  • $5,000 for every heat new pump installed (at least)
  • $10,000 for every roof covered with solar panels (at least)
  • $5,000 for every battery that stores solar power (at least)

Result: a massively fast transition AWAY from fossil fuels, that have all the well-known side effects (kill the climate, pollute the air =kill mankind)

Plus: BigOil will OWN a lot of renewable infrastructure, that still be worth a lot in 10, 20, 30 years time.

Plus: lower energy prices

Plus: A renewable, more sustainable future for everyone, including BigOil, including the Americans.

Sounds?

Let’s do it.

If BigOil does not want too, threaten with 50% Windfall tax.

if pope Francis can truly about to bring change to an old patriarchal (and also capitalistic) institution that has become nothing more than a mere “cultural curiosity”.

Because: The catholic (and other) churches that do exist right now, were NEVER what Jesus envisioned when he said “on this rock (you, peter) I will build my church”)

“Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it.”

He did not say:

  • create a church only for men that molest children because they are forbidden to molest women
  • charge all your members tax so you can build gigantic buildings and do some philanthropy here and there (but never ever provide any “real” service to them, no wifi, no free coffee and do not care about their mental well being, because this would mean a lot of effort (cost money)

the climate construction site

have you EVER seen a church that has solar panels on the roof?

no? (on TV once, in Mexico, hey there is actually ONE, why is this not the norm?)

Why does “THE CHURCH” (!!!) not harvest the powers that come from the heavens above!

Why does it not care about long term survivability of mankind on this planet?

the mental construction site

Especially during crisis such as Corona and war, people WOULD have need a church that actually takes care of them and their mental troubles.

If families can not get along – another construction site where a true church could work for the better on this planet.

But in 30 years have not seen a bit of it.

The signs are years old and surely they must have read them: 2019: “the most reliable time series curated by the Institute for Health Metrics Evaluation (IHME) appears to show that in 2017:

  • just under 300 million people worldwide suffered from anxiety,
  • about 160 million from major depressive disorder
  • another 100 million from the milder form of depression known as dysthymia.”

https://www.theguardian.com/society/2019/jun/03/mental-illness-is-there-really-a-global-epidemic

“The gates of hell shall not prevail”

What part in that will the churches around this planet play a role?

Or are churches – in fact – just another “company ltd.”, that exists only because of their centuries old privileges, put down in century old contracts that generate “sufficient” income streams, that are taxed offshore (meaning: not at all).

Hurray!

the catholic church surely needs a restart

this restart was centuries ago the protestant church.

now both churches need a restart.
